Valley of Heads is an interactive performance piece that was created using the context of an art class to curate the actions of each person to create a specific situation. Each person was directed to take one button and stand on the number that correlated with the number written on the back of the chosen button. Then, they were told to read the word out loud in the order of which they were standing and stare into the mirrors for three solid minutes.
It was silent.
Everyone was extremely uncomfortable as they felt forced to stare at their reflections with no personal space surrounding them, yet every single person participated until the work was complete.
